In the Harbor

The final for my Intro to Illustration calendar project. I got Sydney, Australia (January).
Story time!
The characters are mine from an original story. The redhead is Kenna and the brunette with the pink dye is Harper. The dog is Lochland and he belongs to Kenna.
The girls are studying to be marine biologists and their story takes place in Scotland.
However, Harper spent half her life in Australia (her family moved around quite a bit) and she likes to visit it as often as she can. Sometimes Kenna (and Lochland) go with her.
While out in Sydney harbor, Harper sees what she thinks is a sharks fin (something she’s not a fan of) and Kenna wants a closer look. Instead she comes face to face with a little clown fish and sees something that is definitely not a shark.
The little clownfish buddies are my shoutout to the Pixar movie Finding Nemo because I love that movie.
