Spring Equinox Dance

The seasonal equinoxes are celebrated by all spellcasters, but some make a bigger deal out of them then others.

Andromians are particularly fond of the spring and summer equinoxes, though the spring one is their favorite. Andromia winters, while beautiful, can be harsh so when the snow starts to melt and warm winds begin blowing the entire country is more then ready to shed some layers and watch nature come alive again.

The Spring Equinox celebration begins when the first flowers begin to bloom, which is typically mid March.
Every village has their own ways of celebrating, but the common traditions include a feast, a cèilidh (a public dance) with lively music, colorful decorations, flowers, and a Sprionga Pole (a tall white pole with a gold orb on top placed in the center of town and adorned with many different colored flowers and ribbons. The children of the village usually decorate it).
These celebrations can last anywhere from three days to three weeks.
